Eh? I'm not sure . . . .

Reminds of the bleak running gag of the Ulster troubles. A youth out on his
own is wandering on his own in a borderline area is chased down an alleyway
by a gang of locals.

"Are you catholic or protestant?"
"I'm jewish!"
"Yes, but are you a catholic jew or a protestant jew?"
