I haven't been able to find much about this ancestor, Thomas Bigger who
family history states was born in County Antrim, Ireland b: @1754, d:
February 7, 1829 Robinson Twp. Washington Co. PA, m: Elizabeth Moore May
25, 1773. They sailed from Londonderry August 23, 1773, arriving in
Baltimore, MD Oct 16, 1773. The oral tradition of the family states
that the Bigger family was of the Stuart Clan, since they were "Laird."
He and his wife sailed with his mother Martha Unknown Bigger; his father
Matthew having died. Thomas was said to be a weaver by trade.
Thus far I have been unable to find evidence of this in Ireland. Can
anyone help direct me. I have checked the LDS Bigger/Beggar listing for
Antrim Co. but didn't find anything.
