Edward ,you are correct,to refer by number cuts out some of the
confusion.I thought(can't find the post) that the writer was referring
to James 1 who was captured on his way to France byHenry 4th. and reared
and educated in The Court of the English king(sometimes residing in the
Tower) from the age of 12 to 30.Sorry to have caused confusion,will use
