Which James ?? If James I, James VI. He was born in Edinburg Castle 19
June 1566. By early eary 1567 Mary Queen of Scots placed him in the
custody of the earl of Mar and his household to be kept at Stirling
Castle. His upbrings was stern adn sometimes severe. His mother did
write letters and had genuine concern for him. But did not see him
again. His formal education started at the age of four. from Royal
Family, Royal Lovers. by David M, Bergeron. 1991. Elizabeth I was on
the throne of England.
