William and Wilson are very common separately and in combination. You give
neither date not any place to pinpoint him.

Where are several Wilsons (including a William J) in the varios branches of the
Torrens families.

There are two William Wilson liste in the 1630 Muster Roll for the Barony of
Rapho, Donnegal (plus a two James, two John, a Robert a Gabraell, a David plus
many other refernces to the Wilson family).

So you are looking for one particular straw in a haystack. Add that to the fact
that most of the Irish records were destroyed in 1922 and you have a real
challenge!

Torres families are exceedingly lucky as most of the records were searched in
1919/20 and the relevant information extracted, BEFORE the bombing of the Four
Courts. Some of the detals of the search are on our www site and may interest
you.

I am in a very fortunate position of possessing the original reports on the
data so am processing reports which have vener before been examined in detail.
So I am working with several others to bridge the gaps beteen our lines: we
have already made a lot of connections but, even with all the available data,
working in Ireland is not easy.

Good luck!
