Thanks Iain. I didn't realize the poem was written that far after Wallace's
death. Whatever is the truth, he must have been outstanding to have been
made such a folk hero. I believe that most of the myths we read have some
basis in reality. I guess genealogy has made me a nit-picker. I think I
will just enjoy the story.
