It has been helpful to me, a 'newbie', to read all the really fine, thoughtful, helpful , kind, researched, and caring responses EACH and every one of you has seen fit to post ,to help and aid another 'genie'.
It has also been good for me when I can learn a little about another 'rooter' by their byline, motto, or try to decipher the address--frequently finding 'I know someone that you know'.
I responded to personal E-mail one time and rec' no answer and I felt 'stupid'--like maybe I'd done
something wrong, but not knowing what that 'something' might have been.
So..(-All apologizes to that country singer--whoever s/he is/was)..It's four in the mornin' and what's more the dawnin'
just woke up a yearnin' in me
that I hate to see comin' the rooters all runnin'
away when I have questions for thee
Please stay and be merry, the day's bloomin' cheery
all over the east and the west-a
For I love to read Edward, John and that Vesta
just make a day fit to a tee
There's Penny, and Joann let's give them a big hand
And Linda, her humor is welcomed by me
Sit a 'spell and start typin', sip a cup full of Scotch and some tea
Whether Scots or Scotch-Irish or English or British don't make no difference to me
For Heinz is my background and pedigreed is my doghound and
GGranddad was ONLY a miner, you see
But we all just loved him w/out reservations 'cause he was a guy full of glee
didn't give a tinkers dam about money, worked nite to the mornin'
On the farm and his mine, then to the house where he raised 5 kids w/o wife
She was a beauty, a true Scots lass, at 32 she gave up her life
Sunday mornins' comin' down and we need to love one another
(Oh, I know the syntex' all wrong)
Come along w/me, go a roamin' in the gloamin'
Come back and we'll all think only-GENEALOGY
Love and Hugs, Ginny
