Moyra,
I couldn't help noticing your surname. If you're searching BURNETTs too, mine was Sarah (b. around 1840) who m. William CHESNEY, then Hugh STONE. She had several children by both husbands, including:
William B. CHESNEY, b. 1863?
Mary Jane CHESNEY, b. 1865 (or 1858)
John CHESNEY
Elizabeth STONE
Margaret STONE
James STONE, b. 1877 around Portglenone/Ballymena in County Antrim.
All children (and maybe others I don't know about) immigrated to North America beginning 1884. I don't have my research here at work, so I can't provide you with more details than these right now. I'd love to hear from you (or ANYONE on the list) if you might have a connection to these families!
Judy Lynn (it's a double name, please!)
