Please excuse a newcomer question:

Am I in the wrong discussion list? My ancestors DID immigrate to America from
Scotland, Via a generation or two in Irleland, at least, some did. But I
believe they lived in County Cork. Obviously, that is not Northern Ireland.
SO am I in the wrong group OR are the Northern Ireland Scots-Irish just more
interested in discussing their roots than those who were in the south?

My names: maternal side:NORTON,MURRAY, HIGGINS, SYNG, BEASLEY, WHITE,
ROGERS,LOVE, PERRY,GREENWOOD,BLOUNT
paternal side:
JORDAN, FARIS, RANSOM, MATTHEWS,MCCLELLAN,BAUGH

CAROLINE BURNETT COOK (The Burnetts came straight from Aberdeen)
