Hi Virginia,

I did some checking at RootsWeb, and found some information that might be interesting to you. Ben Swett's database has an entry of Ephraim Swett, b. 1804 in Standish, Cumberland, Maine...parents were Benjamin Swett and Apphia Rowe. Ephraim's first wife was Asenath Unknown, b. abt. 1810 in Maine. They were married abt. 1830. What doesn't make sense is that they had children as late as 1840 so this Asenath might not be your g-g-grandmother. Could be that there is a mistake somewhere. It's at least a place to do further research.
