I know my entire Street history except for one ( or at least as much as
everyone else knows)
John Kennedy Street had 2 daughters that lived. One was Elizabeth Kennedy
Street my great grandmother. I know all about her but she had a sister named
Jeannie Kate Street. She was born 6 Nov. 1876 in Waco, McLennan Co., TX.
Jeannie Kate was kicked in the face by a horse. She lost her eye. She died when
she was about 30 according to a note on her photo. I have a photo of her after
this happened that is a side view only.
One obit that I have says that she is Mrs. Jeanie Kate Villepigue of
Washington, D.C.with a daughter named Sunshine Villepique. Another obit in 1912 does
not list Kate as a survivor so she was dead by 1912. It lists a
granddaughter, Miss Olive Villpie in school at Brownwood. TX. I don't know if Olive and
Sunshine are the same and the obit is has her name misspelled.
I would like to find out more about Jeannie Kate and her daughter and
