Am looking for info on my Strain ancestors. My father's mother is Ellen Strain (Nellie) born in Belfast 8 January 1893. She married my grandfather William Lilly, in 1919, Larne N Ireland. As far as I know her father was David Strain married to Ann Wilson? They had the following children, Ellen, Martha, Jeanie, John, David, Rachel (never married) James, William, Josephine (Ina?) and Robert Strain, born about 1911, never married. Robert Strain came out to West Australia. He sponsored my father John Lilly and mother when they immigrated to WA in 1949. We think John Strain went to Canada, don't know where though. Any help would be appreciated.
