I was reviewing again, sadly, the records of this 16yr old Private of the 62nd AL Infantry.

Captured, never paid, as his record indicated, and dying of dysentery in a northern prison camp,

his service to the south ended in Sept, 1864. His mother is listed as E C Stone of Talledega,

AL.

He belongs in someone's family tree. If someone has the 1860, or even 1850, census handy,

would you look for his Stone family? We should be able to find a descendant of his sibling,

at least. Thanks.
