Hello everyone, I'm new to the list. My name is Brenda, I'm looking for a
Nehemiah Stone born abt. 1750 in Montgomery Co. MD He was married 3 Mar 1778 to
Sarah Wilson b. 18 Oct 1755 in Duck Creek, Kent Co. MD. The county they were
married in was Prince George's County. Now I have been informed that from 1776
some of the county lines were changed. I'm not sure what parts of Montgomery
became Prince George's, but its possible where Nehemiah lived was changed.
Nehemiah had a son named William born abt 1780 in Wash.Co. MD. Was married 4 Jun
1811 in Wash Co. to a Susan Leiter born 14 Jun 1782 in Wash Co. MD There has
been found another William Stone age 52 in 1719 in Charles Co. MD which parts
were later turned into PGC. I found on the internet a Last Will and Testament
of a Nehemiah Stone dated 1880 in PGC. It only mentions a couple of brothers:
George and Christopher, and I think a wife of christopher? and maybe some
children? (But not Nehemiah's.) My family goes back to Zachary Wade of Maryland
and there is a Stone connection there also. Just have a feeling that its the
same family of Stones somehow. Can or would anyone be able to help with any
