This G.W.S. went to Callaway Co. Ky with his parents & died there in i think
1892 and is buried in the Asbury cemetery. His father, Rowland was from
Ireland and mother was sister of the Gov. of N.C. This G.W.S. brother, Robert
and wife Nancy Wright went from Ky. To Nacogdoches Co. Tx. in the 1830's.
Other members of the family may have also went. There may be a connection
between The G.W.S. of Troup & this group of "Stones"s . Ref: the death in
1812 in williamson Co.Tn. of William Stone and his will & Ect. Red Peters
in Dry Watauga Texas
