Alice B Stockman was married to Salveno Stockman. His first name is spelled a dozen different ways in the census and other record transcriptions. He was a son of Silas Stockman and Sarah Elizabeth Whittlesey. They were in Norfolk County, MA in 1850 but prior to that had lived in Roxbury, CT. In 1860 they were in Morris, Lichfield, CT. In 1900 Alice and Salveno were living with her parent in Lichfield, CT.
It is my opinion, no proof, that Silas was descended from John Stockman the immigrant who arrived in the New World in 1660 and married Sarah Pike. I do not know of any Stockmans who were in MA prior to 1850 who arae not descended from John.
