Good morning Jim and Goodmorning Ann!!
Thanks Jim for the excellent information of facts you sent regarding the who's who in the Pope Co. AR 1850's census. And thanks for the other information you have sent.
Ann I have quite a bit of time over the next few weeks to spend on research. Right now I can only access from the internet but one thing I do have access too is Ancestry's census. Being able to actuall see the census sheets has really helped me the last couple of years. So I will be able for sure to do that. When I travel back to the states in the Spring I plan a cross country genealogical trip and plan to cover parts of Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and then north to New York where I will base at my daughters and she will then be able to make some short trips with me all in the North East. So putting together what we can as fact ahead of time and then giving me ideas of where I might ferret out other facts I will be happy to help where I can.
I too have my serious doubts that the early William who was married to Ann Shoemaker is the same as the William who is the possible father of Henry Stinnett of Arkansas. By us working together to try and find documents and verify what we have I think we can take care of some of our brick walls.
Now to pour another cup of coffee and start looking.
Ciao!

Thanx, Ann.
They may help once they can be integrated with information that more
specifically identifies this AL William Stinnett.
