James,
Can you give more info on your Stewarts?
I also have Stewarts that moved from TN to AR ...but am still trying to
find pieces of the puzzle.

Gerene my name is James Stewart, Linda and I both had Stewart's that
were in Carroll co. TN and moved to AR. My James Franklin Stewart b.
1826 in Greenville, SC was the son of John C. Stewart who moved to
Carroll co. TN before 1830. James Franklin married Cornelia Blow in 1848
and moved to Naylor, the White co. now Faulkner co. AR about 1860.
James Franklin Stewart had an older brother Milton who married Mary
Taylor d/o Alexander Taylor. Milto and Mary lived across the county line
in Henderson co. TN and in 1860 Alezander Taylor 88 NC was living with
them.
Milton and Mary moved into Gibson co. after 1870.
I wonder if your Stewarts and Taylors could be part of that line. I know
Milton had all girls noo boys.
Let me know what you think.
James

Linda, I am sorry that I don't have anyone...My great grandmother was a
Stewart who married a Taylor and I have never connected her to any
Stewarts...So therefore know of No Males Stewarts to do DNA.
My Uncle in his 80's from this Taylor Line submitted his DNA for me...so
far no match on the Taylors.
I have company from out of state, so will contact you later as I have
forgotten what line of Stewarts in Independence Co you are from.
Thanks very much,
Gerene
