Replying to an old post on the Stengels in Illinois.
Wilhelmina Stengel married Emil Erdmann making her my gr gr grandmother.
She had at least one sister Emelie and one brother Julius that we've confirmed so far - of course knowing the typical size of families back then we strongly suspect there were many more.
Given that Julius, his wife and at least his eldest child (Mary b 1882) immigrated the same year as Henry - I suppose its possible we are looking at the same family.
Let me know if you'd like to look at my tree and I'll give you access.
