All Steel/Steele researchers,

The new web site for the Steele National Repository and Rootsweb's
GenConnect services is officially open. Jeri J. Steele, your webmaster
and host, has done a magnificent job putting everything together, and
invites you to visit.

The new address is http://metronet.com/~steele/snr .

The Steele National Repository is a virtual online repository for the
study of Steele history and genealogy, and maintains a physical
collection at the West Virginia Archives & History Library in
Charleston, W.Va. The site also contains GenConnect pages for Bibles,
wills, pension records, deeds, obits, biographies, queries, and more.

Jeri has also installed a search engine capable of searching the entire
online contents of SNR. It has been registered with Rootsweb, but may
take a few days to be activated - so if it doesn't work today, check
back in a few days.
