I am researching Spires families who came from Barnwell County, S.C. to Lowndes and Dooly Counties in Ga. They were living in Dooly County in mid to late 1800's: Curtis and Candy Spires/Spiers, James R. Spires/Spiers...I believe the spelling Spires is correct since this spelling is used at present....If you have links to this family please reply.
