Hi Dick.........this is Ron Spelman born 9/18/32 born in NYC nowliving in La Jolla CA. Right now I'm a bit involved (busy) but would like to pursue this a bit more over the weekend....as I understand it ..my Great grandfather Denis Spelman was borning in Ireland around 1832 to 1838 came to the USA aroung 1855 or 60 served in the army during the Civil War and is buried in Ohio in a military cemetery. William was one of his sons and was my grandfather . William had 4 sons William jr...Clinton, Arthur and George, my father. Interestingly enough my mothers maiden name is Meyer. I'll write again Ron
