You really need to try to get farther back. Do you have their birth, marriage and death certificates? Have you checked the Censuses from 1900 through 1930? Do you know where they lived? Do you know their children's names? Have you checked Census records for them? Those are the starting places. Then you checked church records, town records, obituaries, land records. How about military records? Any family records, like letters, bibles, etc.?

All these people lived in a period since vital records were available so it should not be hard to get them.

Good luck.
Doris

Robert Orville Southard was born on 9 Jul 1926 & died 20 Jul 2005. His parents were Clyde Ernest Southard, born on 17 Jan 1898 & died on 15 Jun 1937 & Rosetta Horton born on 20 Apr 1905 & died on Mother's Day 1978. After Clyde's death, Rosetta remarried & her last name became Osborne. Jean Alberta Southard was born on 12 Mar 1924 & died in Oct 1994. I have reached a dead end with my research. I have NO idea what Clyde or Rosetta's parents names or anything else for that matter. PLEASE help me if these names sound remotely familliar.
