Thank you for your reply. You may have given some unexpected help. Was the
Nicolas Sneed that you mention , Nicolas Sneed or Nicolas Sneed Davis. I am
not sure from the way your email reads. I know that I had never heard of a
Nicholas Sneed. And Prince Edward County is not that far from Fluvanna and
Albemarle county. Perhaps Mary Sneed had a brother also in the area. Have
you run across this possibility? That might explain the Nicholas name
coming into the Sneed line. My grandfather used to say that his family
originated near Fluvanna. Was Mary Sneed also from Wales?There are
supposedly some Sneeds (SNEYDs) who claim Welsh descent. I think you have
generated more questions on my part than answers. Any help is
appreciated...... Ann
