If I have the correct John W. Snead that you speak about I have the
following:

John W (Winn) Snead b. 1835 I have no spouce listed
parents were John Snead b. aft 1790 m. Jane Jenny Winn b. 7/7/1799
Jane was born in Mecklinburg, Va. and died Hopkins Co., Kentucky. They
were married 7/8/1820 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. Jane Winn's parents
were Mourning Winn and Sarah Jones. Mourning Winn's parents were John
Winn, Sr. and Ann Stone. John Snead's parents were Samuel Snead, Jr.
and Martha Patsy Clay. Samuel's parents were Samuel Snead, Sr and
Martha ???. I can give you dates and locations of these lines if you
believe this is the correct line.
I have a John H. Snead b. 5/4/1792 m. to Elizabeth Finley, but I have
nothing on children born to them. This John H. was the son of John
Snead b. 2/2/1755 in Albemarle Co., d. 12/21/1855 Danville, Kentucky,
and Sarah Johnson b. abt 1755 in Goochland. I don't know if this is the
same John H. you spoke about married to Sarah Sally Jones.
I have nothing on the Peter Snead you speak about. He may have been
married twice, but I have nothing on a second wife, if he is Peter
Boswell Snead's father. Hope this helps, and let me know if there's
anything new you find on these individuals. These branches of the Snead
family probably all connect in some way and would love to find all the
missing links and get them all together. Keep in touch Holly Snead
