Its great to find the Snead Family list! My earliest proven Snead
connection is to Mary Snead(b. 1773 in probably Orange Co., N.C., d.
05-12-1853 in Brazos Co., Tx.). Her parents were John and Mary Gooch
Snead. Her siblings mentioned in a court action in Edgefield District,
S.C. to divide a large tract of land from their late father's estate
were: Keziah, Jane, Cecilia, Frances, Susan F., Lavinia, Garland,
Nataniel, John Gooch, Tilman. She married Benjamin Hart, Jr. in 1795,
in probably Glynn Co., Ga. Her father and Benjamin's father worked
together as regulators in Burswick, Glynn Co. Both John and Benjamin
were said to have been born in Hanover Co., Va. I would like to expand
my knowledge of the ancestry of the Snead and Hart lines. Can you help?
