I would like to trace brothers and sisters of Caroline Shilling, who was the
daughter of Samuel Shilling and Ann, chr. 10 Sept. 1819 at Saint George,
Gravesend, Kent. Caroline's sister was christened there in 1817.
Can anyone give me details of the marriage of Samuel and Ann?
I would like to find whether a certain William Shilling was Caroline's
brother. This William lived in Brighton in the 1840's and 1850's. In the
1851 census he is shown as a labourer, living at 8, Dorset Building,
Brighton, age 39, born at Molash, Kent, with his wife Maria (age 39, born
Lancing) and two children Edmond (10) and Eliza (7). These 2 childen were
born at Brighton.
Any information about any of the above Shillings would be greatly
appreciated.
Best wishes,
John Townsend
(Wokingham, England)
