The Sherwood One-Name Study Group has updated and expanded its website at
the URL below. You will find much useful information on the origins,
distribution and history of the surname, as well as a sample of our
newsletter, and a feedback form so that you can register your Sherwood
interests. For those seeking Sherwoods in England & Wales after 1837, we
have also put our extracts from the births, marriages & deaths indexes on
the site.

The Group holds an International Gathering every 3 years, and the next one
is to be held in September 2003 at Guildford, Surrey, England convenient for
London & Heathrow Airport. All Sherwood researchers are welcome - register
