Hi Marilyn,
My information comes from an email posted to the Sherwood List some time ago by Jack Thompson. He wrote that there is unconfirmed information
that Philip Sherwood was from Somerset, England (Tyler's Quarterly Magazine, Jan. and Apr., 1942, article entitled "Philip Sherwood's Daughters,"
by John Nicklin). There is also the possibility that he is Philip Sherwood, b. 1638, Bath, England.
