Alva's parents were Abigail Stickney and George Parker Shedd. George's
father was Capt David Shed...he was the only child of David & Lucy (Blood) Shedd.
David was the son of John and Elizabeth (Shattuck) Shed. John was the son of
Samuel and Elizabrth (Bowers) Shed. Samuel was the son of Daniel that
migrated to the US.
