Hi Maureen

If your MANN line passed through Penhurst, Sussex, we would be delighted to
hear from you.

Our line starts (at the present state of our research) with Matthew MANN who
may have been born in about 1776; he married Elizabeth ? in about 1796 and
their children were Mary Ann, b. Dec 1796, Sarah, b. May 1801, Thomas, b.
Nov 1804, Penhurst, George, b. c1810, Battle, Sussex and John, b. c1812,
Battle, Sussex.

Our line continues from Thomas, through his son, Daniel, his daughter Ann
and her marriage to Alfred John GARDNER in 1870 at Denton, near Lewes,
Sussex.

We have a William MANN (a descendant of Albert MANN, a brother of Ann MANN),
born 1887, we know not where yet; he married Edith EVERALL at some time and
Gertrude WINGETT on Christmas Day 1912 in Eastbourne, Sussex. Within one of
these marriages, a son, William, was born.

We are in contact with several cousins (albeit distant) from this line
including two descendants from Albert, above. Is there anyone else out there
with similar interests?

Ann & John Taylor
