The Severance Genealogy by Dewsnap incorporates the Rev.'s genealogy and
elaborates on it. There are still, however, many holes.

I think this might be what you seek:

JOHN/ABBA (Tabitha, Daniel, Ebenezer, John, John)

bpt 18 July 1762 at Springfield West, Mass. Only his mother, Tabitha was
listed as a parent. Tabitha married to Asa Miller, 12 Dec 1765, [MA
VR-Springfield] and probably died young as Asa Miller remarried to Eunice
Shircoy as his second wife, Springfield, Ma. [DAR LR Vol 15 p 74]

John/Abbe was mustered by Col. Enoch Hall at Temple, NH on 15 July, 1779 for
Continental Service of one year. His Rev. War Pension Request #W2643
indicates that he later traveled back to Springfield, MA to visit.

He died 23 Jan 1831 at Wallingford, VT

John/Abbe married Eunice Chase, both residents of Newbury Ma 12 Oct 1781.
[Mass VR-Newbury]. Eunice Chase, born 24 Jan 1760, daughter of Aquila Chase
and Mary ____.

John/Abbe and Eunice lived in Alstead, NH and later moved to Reading, VT.
Both died at Ludlow, VT.

The 1790 census has Abby/John at Packersfield, Cheshire Co. with 4 boys and
1 girl.

1810 census, they were in Alstead, NH.

1820 census, they were in Ludlow, Windsor Co. VT.

1830 census, Wallingford, Rutland Co., VT

The RWR indicates he filed from Windsor Count 9 April 1818, Ludlow, VT in
1820, and Eunice applied from Orange Co. VT on 26 Nov 1838.

Children, probably all born in Alstead, NH:

(i) John b 3 July 1782 m LAVINA DUTTON 8 Nov 1814

(ii) Abner b 6 Jan 1784, d young

(iii) Lucy b 11 Mar 1786

(iv) Abner b 11 Mar 1786 m Rebecca Hardy

(v) Benjamin b 29 Feb 1788, d 23 June 1788

(vi) Nathan Severens b 7 Mar 1789 m Rhoda Thompson

(vii) Moses b 19 Oct 1790, d 1871, m Anna Cooper b 17 Sept 1792

(viii) Eunice b 6 June 1792

(ix) Benjamin b 11 Jan 1795

(x) Galen b abt 1803; Benjamin and Galen were in Greenbush, Renesselaer
Co., NY for the 1830 census
