Hi, I am from Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, SD. I stopped at the County Court House today and found the marriage record of Mary Margaret Morgan, age 32 and Ralph G Yocom, age 37. They were married on July 3, 1923 by Parmey G Dennis, ordained minister of Sioux Falls, SD. Doris Rockafeller, 135 N Srapp Ave and NR Yocom of 331 N Minnesota St, Fremont, Nebraska were witnesses. Theo Rockefeller was the brides father.

I looked in the Sioux Falls City Directories for that time frame and did not find Ralph Yocom listed in any of the directories. I checked the 1920 census and did not find Ralph listed in South Dakota.

I found Theo Rockefeller working for The Williams Commission Company in the 1923 directory only, living at 135 N Trap Ave. Sioux Falls.

Seeing there is a N R Yocom living in Fremont, Nebraska and Mary Margaret died in Lincoln, NE I would do some checking in the cenus records of Nebraska. Do you have a obituary for Mary Margaret? Find a Genealogy Society in Lincoln and ask them to do a search for Ralph and Mary Margaret. See if they will can find an obituary for them; they usually have quite a bit of information in them.
