The "E?" was not easily read, but on reflection, it was probably meant to
be "Dr", or perhaps "Dr I".
The minister in question had to be the Reverend Dr Isaac Davidson. Hi son,
Elliot William Davidson, (or his session clerk), would have made that entry
in the Sorbie register, as he was the minister of Sorbie at the time.
