Ian, I don't think your will get much at the library on Cairnryan, I ws there yesterday and while they were very helpful they couldn't find anything re houses. I went to the museum, twice!, they are "very busy" I suggest you phone ahead of your visit, speak to Nikki Goldsworthy, who is in charge of Archives, and give her warning of what you require.
