Len, there are Logans in Stoneykirk 1841 census. Agnes, 40, Elisabeth 40, Elisabeth 70, Janet 42, Jannit, 18. Robert 15, Samuel 60. Thomas, 70. William 40 Ireland, at Ardwell and Clauchanmore. After Samuel and Thomas it says h.l.w. (hand loom weaver). No Allisons. You have the Kirkmaiden ones, the only other book I have for the census is Garlieston, No Logans or Allisons there. There are Logans and Allisons in Glenluce graveyard, also both in Sheuchan, Stranraer. No Jock or John Logan anywhere that I can see. That's all the info I can give you. I am expecting to get the Stranraer (Inch landward) booklet soon, there may be some there. Diana
