Hi` again Diana
I saw a little entry you made on the Logans at Drummore, this name being my father`s side of our house, into which I am about to research.To put you in the picture a bit, my granny was an Allison by her maiden name, she married a James Howatt, had two daughters and a son,namely Jean, Ella and Alex, then James died and some eight years later she married a Jock Logan from about New Luce. there were two siblings by that marriage, Lena the elder and my father James, however Jock Logan died before my father was born. Granny Elisabeth Logan died with her family at Bladnoch post office around the mid 1950`s aged 94.
I wonder if you, in your researches, you may have come across a census in that ert. I think it would be about the 1900 era that shows either of those marriages. Many thanks .Len Logan.
