Linda, it may be of interest to you to know what happened to the Cassidy's. Note name change. In the Stoneykirk MI book
Erected to Francis CASSIDY Farmer Float in memory of his son Francis CASSIDY who died January 8th 1854 aged 28 years. Also James CASSIDY who died February 16th 1855 aged 39 years. Also the erector of this stone Francis CASSIDY who died 4th July 1858 aged 68 years. Also his daughter Janet CASSIDY wife of William AGNEW who died 24th May 1860 aged 35 years. Also Elisabeth MCDONALL wife of the above Francis CASSIDY who died 1st May 1861 aged 84 years. Agnes second daughter died at Whirlpool 23rd Sept 1865 aged 46 years John CASSIDY who died 31st Augt 1896 age 78 years and his wife Martha RALSTON who died at Kilmarnock 11th Sept 1922.
There are 14 McDowall graves in the cemetery, I will look for them another time.
I am looking for Ralstons, isn't it strange how everyone is connected in some way. I don't know where Martha fits in. Diana
