Hi

Could someone tell me if there are any census available for Kirkcowan or
Stranraer
for 1870 and on. If there is could someone lookup Hamilton Stewart (b.
1834) for me

I have received his death certificate from Ian McClumpha and it lists his
place
of death as:

95 Dalrymple St., Stranraer, Inch

Dec. 24, 1920.
His mother and father were Jennet Murray and John Stewart.
Also his grandmother's maiden name is Dalrymple.
(Mary Dalrymple and John Stewart)and I wonder if there is a connection
to the 95 Dalrymple St. address.

I am hoping to find some place of residence/occupation from census forms as
he remarried in 1875, still a fairly young man and I am wondering if there
were any children born from this second marriage.
