I visited the Torhouse Standing Stones this past June and what a thrill! My
only regret was that the hoof and mouth disease precautions prevented me from
standing in the middle. Still, it was about 9 p.m. and still light out and
my husband and I had the beautiful moment and place to ourselves. Across the
road a line of lonely cows lined up to watch us. Margretta
