Hi Pauline,

If you go to
http://www.ordsvy.gov.uk/getamap/index.html
and type in Wigtown to the search box, it will lead you to the 'town' of
Wigtown. After selecting the magnification you want, scroll to the west.
You should find Torhouse Mill Trout Farm on the north bank of the river
Bladnoch, abt. 3.5 km west of Wigtown. You will then find Torhouse to the
south west, and Little Torhouse to the north west of the old mill. Further
north is Torhousemuir. Further to the west of Torhousemuir is Torhouskie.

Hi everyone,

I have found that past M'CULLOCH's lived in Torhouse near the Standing
Stones of Torhouse, I think in the 1700's.

Is someone able to give me more information on M'CULLOCH's, Torhouse and
the Standing Stones please. I can't find Torhouse on any Wigtownshire maps.
Does anyone know the reason please.
