I have a copy of a marriage certificate details for 1869 in the District of Stranraer for my great grandparents (HERON - McALPINE) and the following is on the same page:
John GRACIE (31yrs) & Isabella McMILLAN (29yrs) of Lewis street Stranraer
Parents of John are John GRACIE Dealer (decd) & Agnes GRACIE nee WATT (decd)
Parents of Isabella are John McMILLAN Farmer & Marion McMILLAN nee HOLBURN (decd)
Below would seem to be the same couple on the 1881 Census.
