Thanks to Alistair who found information for me, I now have another search
in the ol'famly tree:
Looking for info on William Agnew b. circa 1761 possibly in Kirkcolm, who
married Agnes McDowall (also seen McDowell, McDouall) b. circa 1765,
possibly in Kirkcolm, who had children:
Helen b 3-27-1803 Kirkcolm
James b 5-23-1796 Kirkcolm
Agnes b. 6-21-1792 Kirkcolm
William b. 9-8-1799 Kirkcolm
Margaret b. 9-13-1801 Kirkcolm
Mary b. 11-23-1787 Kirkolm

William and Agnes possibly married around 1786 in Kirkholm.
Would like to know more about both lines, particularly Wm Agnew's as their
appears to be strong lineage among the Agnew's to Lochnaw Castle. Thanks.
