Linda, I have the 1841 census for Stoneykirk. There is Ann Cassadie age 25 , Elisabeth, 45, Francis, 15, Francis, 45, farmer, Ireland
john, 20, ag. lab. All at Whirlpool

There are 40 McDowalls in the Census!!. Only one at Whirlpool, he is Thomas 25, tailor. The others are all at farms round about., Is that the one you wanted. I can send the others if you like. Diana
