1841 Census Records (Dumfriesshire) indexed by name:

That now brings the number up to 25 Dumfriesshire Parishes covered by this
on-going project

While I'm at it I will mention something of interest to anyone likelt to be
visiting Dumfries and Galloway in May.
D&G are participating in what is a National Festival of Local History Events.
Over 40 organisations, involving Genealogy Groups, Heritage Societies,
Museums, Libraries and Archives have collaborated to present 20+ events in
the 9 days 4th -- 12th May.
