Dear Darryl,
I notice, on rereading your postings, that the Christina McDonald in the 1841 census for Tyree is born in Scotland but the Christina McIntyre in the 1861 Mariposa census is born in Canada. Certainly an enumerator can make a mistake re place of birth. Too bad the 1851 Mariposa census is lost.
