Thanks so much for the McKinnon data.
That certainly ties in with some of my data.

My search is to find which Archibald McDougall b c 1803-6 died 1868 Calcutta
married Mary Graham in 18 Jun 1840 M115424(married as McDugall) I think
they could be in Oban 1841 aged 31 & 29 !!! but are certainly in Greenock
from 1851 aged 38/31. 1861 aged 49/38. 1st child I have found was born
1843 in Greenock - rest in Greenock.

I am hoping Archibald could be one of mine -
The one you list below is ruled out now.

The Archibald b/c Mar 2 1806 (as McLulich) you were wondering about I have
that he marries (as McTulich ) Catherine Rose a daughter of Donald Rose &
Mary Campbell. Then to complicate things further some of there children are
registered as McCulloch(sp) and McDougall :-( .
