Hi Robert
Thank you for this. As I mentioned in my previous reply. I have no
connection to this family. I just collect data hoping to help other find
connections.
When I typed in Angus's birthdate of Nov 1794. I found I had him listed
as the son of Neil & Ann McQuarrie Nov 16 1794 Ormaig Ulva. I may have
copied the name wrong. :-(
Would you have Catherine's death date ?
If this is the same Neil McEachern who marries Mary McKinnon Dec 5 1797
KLN 7625426, 50 and has Alexander registered Dec 30 1798 in Ormaig Ulva.
So I presume this is your Alasdair ?
That's about the extent of my tidbits.

Based on info I had Neil remarried after Catherine died and had one son named Alasdair by his second wife Mary McKinnon, he was born in 1798. This Alasdair was my 3x great grandfather. He and Allan and Angus emigrated to Cape Breton in the 1820's. I'd be inerested to hear what else you know, are you descended from one of Neil McEachern(McKechnie's) children?

Just tidbits to offer you. You probably have this already but a Neil McKechnie (my spelling for McEachern) married a female McQuarrie Feb 27 1781 in KLN M115442, 0343 I presume this was Catherine McQuarrie as they have the following children listed in the OPR's for Ulva (Ormaig)Janet Jan 1782Allan Oct 1788Marion/Sarah Feb 6 1791Ann Mar 11 1792 I'd be interested to know of other children born to this couple and which ones emigrated.
