Many thanks for your great help and suggestions. I've discovered
that there is/was only one Postmaster General and that for the UK so
I may also look for Postmasters. I'll have a go at the Bruce county
web site and the Moosemin obits etc. you seem pretty familiar with
Edmonton - where are you?
