I am looking for information on the parents of John Campbell
Born circa 1819. He is buried in the Cathedral graveyard Elgin.
"Died here April 7 age 28 John Campbell, House Carpenter in Elgin,
interred in Cathedral Church yard 9 April 1847."
He married Ann Matthew and they had 5 children {They were married 5/25/1839
in Elgin, Moray, Scotland}
James Campbell 7 Mar 1840 born Elgin
John Jr Campbell 15 May 1841 born Elgin
Ann Campbell 15 Jan 1843 born Nairn
Robert Alexander Campbell 5 Sep 1844 born Forres
William Ferguson born circa a 1847 probably Elgin
I am descended from William Ferguson CAMPBELL who came to South Australia
and am keen to find out more about this family and in particular to identify
the parents of John Campbell or to learn more of his other children.
Jan.
Good luck with your search!
